General Information
A Better Approach To Patient Care
The expertise of our specialists has enabled DMG Cardiology to develop an innovative approach to patient care.
While our physicians are board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology, DMG cardiologists also subspecialize in various areas of this fast growing field. This subspecialization allows us to put together the cardiology team of experts best suited to treat each patient’s unique set of problems.
So even though each patient has one main cardiologist, different members of the DMG Cardiology team may see the patient during the course of treatment. For example, a patient who needs a pacemaker will be seen by the DMG specialist who has advanced training and experience in caring for pacemaker patients. In this way our cardiologists work as a team, coordinating patient care so that each patient receives the full benefit of our collective knowledge.
By guiding patients to the appropriate cardiac subspecialists, DMG Cardiology has established a “university-style” method of care delivery not usually found outside of a major medical center. More importantly, research and outcome data demonstrates that by subspecialization, patients benefit with higher success rates and a reduced rate of complications.

Community Programs
We live in this community and are part of a group that has proudly served the Western Suburban area for more than 25 years. We are committed to helping area residents lead healthier lives. Our practice emphasizes primary prevention of coronary artery disease with lipid evaluation. This helps current patients avoid further cardiac injury and maintain good health. A recent program that we co-sponsored helped educate thousands of students in DuPage County about their heart and the habits that promote a heart healthy lifestyle.
