A member of our Pediatrics Department, Dr. Seidman believes that pediatrics is mostly about giving families the information they need to make intelligent decisions. A generalist, he has published on subjects ranging from the pediatrician's role in screening for postpartum depression to the neural basis of autism, and has a personal interest in international adoption issues.
When not practicing pediatrics he enjoys his family and endurance athletics.
Dr. Seidman received his medical degree in 1985 from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Seidman is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, DuPage County Medical Society, and the Illinois Medical Society. He is affiliated with Elmhurst Memorial Hospital
