A native of Romania, Dr. Chirila joined DuPage Medical Group in 2002. An active researcher for the last decade, Dr. Chirila has studied, published and presented papers on a range of family medicine topics. She believes that quality care is best achieved through strong patient relationships and a focus on prevention. Her clinical interests include pediatrics and newborn care, cholesterol and cancer screening, dermatology, diabetes and women's health issues.
Dr. Chirila received her medical degree in 1993 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania. She completed her residency in Family Practice at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston where she was named Chief Resident and earned the ÒResident of the YearÓ Award in Clinical Performance and Community Service. Dr. Chirila is a member of the American Association of Family Practice. She is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
