Maggie O’Brien, PT, joined DuPage Medical Group in 2006 and serves as the Clinic Manager at our Bartlett location. Maggie is experienced in treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including acute and chronic back pain, foot and ankle dysfunction, total joint replacements, and all post-op joint repair patients. As a former collegiate gymnast, she has a special interest in treating young female athletes and dancers.
Maggie earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and went on to earn her Physical Therapy degree from Northern Illinois University in 1993. She has extensive continuing clinical education in manual therapy including joint mobilization of the spine, pelvis, and upper extremity. Maggie has taken the complete manual therapy curriculum from University of Saint Augustine and is eligible to sit for her manual therapy certification exam. Maggie believes strongly in patient education and developing a collaborative relationship with her patients to help them achieve the best outcome from their physical therapy treatment.
Maggie is a Member of the American Physical Therapy Association – Orthopedic Section and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association.
