Peena Talati has been a physical therapist for over 25 years, having earned her physical therapy degree in 1982 from Seth G.S. Medical College in Mumbai India. Peena joined DMG in 2006 and is part of the rehab team at our Bartlett site. She has a strong clinical background in all areas of orthopedic rehab including treatment of TMJ dysfunction, cervical and lumbar spine injuries, and joint injuries. Additionally Peena is experienced in the treatment of Vestibular disorders including Vertigo.
Peena stays current with the latest information in patient care techniques through specialized training in manual therapy. She has completed the full curriculum of manual therapy courses from University of Saint Augustine as well as Craniofacial Therapy (Mariano Rocabado) and Brain Mulligan’s Mobilization With Movement. Peena enjoys putting her diverse background to use in treating the variety of diagnosis and age groups that we see at DMG. Peena is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati.
