Dr. Bernadette Bernardo specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has been in practice since 1998.
Dr. Bernardo received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dr. Bernardo is a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of numerous professional societies including the American Medical Society and the Illinois and DuPage County Medical Societies. In addition, she has authored and co-authored articles on vulvar calcinosis in professional journals such as the Journal of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Dr. Bernardo's clinical interests include adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders, general obstetrics, and high risk obstetrics in collaboration with perinatology specialists. She strives to ensure that her patients are well informed, and at ease with the gynecological and obstetrical care she provides.
