Obstetrics & Gynecology
Kenneth Siegel, M.D.
Dr. Siegel has been in private practice since 1980. Over the years, he has enjoyed developing warm, personal, doctor-patient connections. He looks forward to seeing patients from year to year; sharing news about their families and his. He has been privileged to care for and even deliver second generations of his loyal patients! While most obstetricians who trained when he did are no longer delivering babies, Dr. Siegel has such a love of caring for women and helping them to safely bring their offspring into the world, that he plans to continue both Obstetrics and Gynecology for many years!
He has kept up with the ever expanding technological developments in his field through post-graduate continuing education. Some of his Obstetrical interests include: in-office obstetrical ultrasound, high-risk obstetrical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, recurrent miscarriage, pre-eclampsia, and twins. Gynecological interests include: the evaluation and treatment of infertility, the assessment of and the therapy for the abnormal Pap test, the evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding with sonohysterography, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (avoiding a major abdominal incision), new therapeutic techniques to aid in the control of urination, and synthetic mesh repairs of the dropped bladder and rectum.
Dr. Siegel’s primary office locations are in Bloomingdale and Wheaton. Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield is his primary hospital; in addition, he is on the active staff of Edward Hospital. He is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his Internship and Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital of the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, and obtained his Medical Degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and Dentistry in Boston.
For the last several years Dr. Siegel has been volunteering his time caring for the poorest of the poor doing medical missionary work in Sucre, Bolivia or Navaisha, Kenya. He plans to continue to participate in this vital work.
He is blessed with a loving wife (Marcey – married since 1971), and is quite proud of his three adult children, his daughter-in-law, his son-in-law and his two delightful, joyous grandchildren. Other interests he has are road- bicycling, vegetable gardening, singing in his synagogue choir, and scuba diving.
Dr. Siegel looks forward to meeting you and caring for your obstetric and gynecologic needs.
