Cindy Zwart has been at DuPage Medical Group’s Bloomingdale site since July 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University and completed her dietetic internship at Hines VA hospital in Hines, IL. Cindy is a Registered/Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator for the past 8 years. However, she has been doing nutrition and diabetes education and counseling for over 20 years. She also is a Certified Shapedown Instructor (weight management for children and teens), having taught this program for 6 years in a previous job position. Her pediatric experience also extends to having worked as an educator in the office of a pediatric endocrinologist.
