A compassionate and experienced physician, Dr. Sonal Patel is a member of our Internal Medicine Department. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is committed to a patient focused practice that helps people take a responsibility for their own well being. Dr. Patel specializes in adult diabetes, headaches, heart disease in men and women, nutrition and osteoporosis. She is able to speak basic medical languages in Spanish and Gujurati.
Dr. Patel received her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Services Center. She went on to complete her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago—Christ Hospital. Dr. Patel was honored by being part of the Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Society. She has served on the Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Physician Credentialing Committee, the Christ Hospital Cancer Committee and at the American Diabetic Association Youth Camp.
