A member of our Internal Medicine Department, Dr. Rossi's clinical interests include diagnosing and treating arthritis, asthma, diabetes, hypertension and women's health issues, particularly heart disease. In her practice, Dr. Rossi stresses open communication with patients and is sensitive to cultural differences in the perception of health and medicine. Her goals include excellence in care and education to help patients achieve optimum health and a sense of well-being.
In 1999, Dr. Rossi earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, where she was awarded a Bertram A. Richardson Fellowship and a Research Assistantship Grant. From 1996-97, Dr. Rossi participated in a research project that investigated the genetic factors involved in rheumatoid arthritis. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in 2002. In addition, Dr. Rossi was a semi-finalist for the Elie Weisel Prize in Ethics in 1995.
Dr. Rossi is a member of the American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine, the National Association of Inpatient Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
