A member of our Pediatric Department, Dr. Blount specializes in infant and child healthcare. She brings a caring, personal approach to her interactions with children and parents, which she believes helps establish a sense of trust in young patients. Dr. Blount is certified in advanced life support (PALS) and neonatal resuscitation.
Dr. Blount received her medical degree in 1999 from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in Iowa City. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, also in Iowa City.
Dr. Blount is a member of the American Medical Association and the Academy of Pediatrics. She is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
