Dr. Badri has an extensive medical research background as well as clinical interest in women’s health issues. At the heart of her practice is a focus on preventative care for her patients. Dr. Badri also has a special interest in scuba diving and has had training in the treatment of diving related injuries. She is a member of Divers Alert Network (DAN) which is dedicated to the health and safety of recreational scuba divers and to the continuing education of medical professionals.
Dr. Badri received her medical degree in 1986 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. She completed a transitional internship and her residency in Internal Medicine at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1982 from Northwestern University, where she researched sleep disorders in the elderly.
Dr. Badri is a member of the Illinois State Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. She recently served as Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital and is currently on the Credentials Committee. She has also served on the Medical Records Committee, Clinical Practice Improvement Committee, Continuing Medical Education Committee and the Medical Executive Committee. She is affiliated with Good Samaritan and Hinsdale Hospitals.
