A member of DuPage Medical Group since 1999, Dr. Boettcher is board certified in Pediatrics and specializes in infant and child healthcare. He served in the U.S. Air Force, 5th Medical Group in a variety of positions, including Chief of the Pediatrics Department, Medical Director of the Child Development Center, and Medical Advisor of the Women, Infant, and Child Program. Dr. Boettcher's special areas of clinical interest include pediatric asthma management. He has been certified in pediatric advanced life support (PALS) and neonatal resuscitation.
Dr. Boettcher received his medical degree in 1993 from the University of Chicago-Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Chicago Children's Hospital.
An experienced lecturer, Dr. Boettcher regularly speaks on a variety of pediatric topics for continuing medical education programs. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan and Edward Hospitals.
