A native Chicagoan, Dr. Steinken is a member of our Pediatrics Department. Committed to the health and well being of infants, children, and adolescents. His professional experience includes practicing medicine at the U.S. Public Health Services Field Station in Albany, Georgia.
Dr. Steinken received his medical degree in 1977 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He completed his Residency in Pediatrics at The Children's Mercy Hospital at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1973 from Northwestern University.
Dr. Steinken is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital and Edward Hospital.
