As a member of our Gastroenterology Department, Dr. Daniels specializes in diagnosis and treatment of digestive system disorders. Dr. Daniels joined our Clinic in June 1983. He has particular interest in endoscopic surgery, gallbladder disease, colon cancer screening, Crohn's disease, gastrointestinal disorders and treating heartburn. Dr. Daniels received his medical degree in 1978 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his Residency and Fellowship at the Loyola University of Chicago in Maywood, IL. Dr. Daniels is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward, Good Samaritan and Delnor Community Hospitals.
Dr. Daniels is a member of the American Medical Association, DuPage County Medical Society and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Daniels volunteers at the DuPage Community Clinic, a clinic that cares for the county's uninsured. Dr. Daniels believes that open communication and education are key to making patients active participants in their own care, and that their participation is critical to recovery. He takes the time to listen to patients' concerns and answers all of their questions. Dr. Daniels enjoys playing golf, running, traveling, wine tasting and collecting.
