Stacy Centeno has been working in diabetes education for 12+ years. She has experience with type 1 and 2 diabetes as well as pregnancy and diabetes. She has worked at both the Glen Ellyn and Stratford locations. Stacy attended the University of South Florida where she obtained her BSN in 1993. She worked in Cardiovascular nursing where she developed an interest in diabetes. She has worked as a diabetes educator ever since, obtaining her certification in 1998. Currently she works at the Glen Ellyn location doing individual and group education. When she isn’t working, she is at home raising her 4 children.
