An experienced primary care physician, Dr. Griffin joined the Internal Medicine department of the DuPage Medical Group in 2001. Dr. Griffin focuses on creating strong patient relationships and emphasizes preventative care, heart health, and appropriate cancer screening. He offers particular expertise in diagnosing and treating allergy, asthma, diabetes, osteoporosis, and gastrointestinal conditions.
Dr. Griffin received his medical degree in 1989 from the University of Illinois in Chicago and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1992. From 1992-99, he served as an attending physician at Mason District Hospital in Havana, Illinois. While there, he was Medical Director for Havana Medical Associates and was president of Healthcare Network Associates of Central Illinois.
Dr. Griffin is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association.
