Brian Verbout, P.T., has been with DuPage Medical Group for 18 years, working both in clinical and management roles at our Glen Ellyn office. Brian earned his Physical Therapy degree from Northwestern Illinois in 1990. He also holds a BS in Biology from Augustana College. Brian has been devoted to the field of orthopedic physical therapy for the past 20 years and is highly experienced in expertly treating all non-surgical and post-surgical orthopedic conditions. He especially enjoys treating shoulder and knee patients and is able to help them achieve optimum recovery through a combination of hands on treatment, functionally based exercises, and patient education.
Brian stays current with the latest in orthopedic care through participation in clinical specialty seminars by respected researchers such as Brian Mulligan, Robin McKenzie, and Gary Gray. He uses manual therapy techniques including Strain Counter Strain, mobilization of the nervous system, and joint mobilization. Brian’s patients enjoy not only the depth of experience that he brings to his treatment approach, but also benefit from the close working relationship that he has with the referring physicians of DMG.
Brian has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Illinois Physical Therapy Association since 1990.
