Cami received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1995. She completed her internship at Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Concluding her internship she took a volunteer position with AmeriCorps as a nutrition specialist with a program at LaGrange Hospital in rural LaGrange, Georgia assisting in the welfare of at-risk, homebound elderly. When her commitment was over she began work as a registered dietitian at Briarwood nursing home outside of Atlanta, Georgia. From there she moved on to become a renal dietitian specializing in Dialysis.
Cami truly found her passion when she achieved her Certified Diabetes Educator status while working at Saint Joseph’s Specialty Center for Diabetes Care in 2001 and stayed there until 2005 when her family was relocated to Chicago, Illinois. She also worked part-time with Kroger Pharmacy in Atlanta as a certified diabetes educator and also to assist in obtaining their status as an ADA certified program for diabetes.
When Cami's family arrived in Chicago, Illinois she took one year off and then found her position within DuPage Medical Group in 2006. It has been a perfect fit and she enjoys working so closely with all the physicians to ensure the continuity and quality of care that healthcare professionals strive for every day.
