Fluent in French and English, Dr. Sievertsen is a member of our Internal Medicine and Endocrinology Departments and a Medical Director at DuPage Medical Group. His clinical interests include renal medicine, metabolic disorders, reproductive endocrinology, and hyperprolactemia. His research has been published in the Annals of Internal Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. Dr. Sievertsen was previously the Medical Director of Hinsdale Physician Health Care and a Department of Medicine instructor for Rush Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center and Michael Reese Hospital.
Dr. Sievertsen received his medical degree in 1974 from the University of Pennsylvania-Philadelphia School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship in Endocrinology at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Sievertsen is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and the American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital and Hinsdale Hospital.
