A member of both our Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Departments, Dr. Schwartzers' special areas of clinical interest include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and the pediatrician's and family practitioner's approach to diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Schwartzers has performed key research on the role of potent bone marrow cell stimulators and lymphoid cell growth factors in regenerating stem cells. She is educated in international adoption and health related issues. In addition, she has instructed medical students in physical diagnosis at Loyola University's Stritch School of Medicine.
Dr. Schwartzers received her medical degree in 1996 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. She completed her combined Residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Loyola University Medical Center. She is affiliated with Elmhurst Memorial and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
