Dr. Diethelm’s areas of clinical expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of children and adults for health issues. She has special interest in the treatment of cholesterol, adult diabetes, hypertension and smoking cessation.
Dr. Diethelm received her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Michigan. She attended medical school at the University of Toledo Medical School. Dr. Diethelm completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Diethelm enjoys volunteering her time in the community. She has been involved in various events and foundations including Camp Friendship which is an American Cancer Society Camp, as well as numerous tutoring programs.
Dr. Diethelm is a member of the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Medical Association. She is affiliated with Good Samaritan and Elmhurst Hospitals.
