A board certified Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Ojash Bhagwakar believes quality health care begins by establishing a strong relationship with patients. His clinical interests include treatment of diabetes and cholesterol, heart disease, perioperative management and preventive medicine.
Dr. Bhagwakar earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his medical degree in 1999 from University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago where he graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors as well as being part of the national medical honor society. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Northwestern University- McGraw Medical Center. Before joining DuPage Medical Group, Dr. Bhagwakar was an Internist with Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bhagwakar is a member of the American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine and American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan and Elmhurst Memorial Hospitals.
