After completing her undergraduate work at Bryn Mawr College, Dr. Momoyama attended New York Medical College. She is a board certified internist, having finished her training at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. More recently, she worked several years as a physician in Arizona. She came to the Chicago area with high regard from her Arizona colleagues.
Dr. Momoyama speaks Japanese fluently and has obtained a Japanese national medical license after the completion of her Internal Medicine training. In addition, her three year Internal Medicine residency training program at a Harvard teaching hospital is a strong skill base to compliment the warm personal style her patients enjoy.
Dr. Momoyama has received several teaching and research awards. Her clinical interests include the interaction between health and lifestyle. She is affiliated with and Elmhurst Memorial and Good Samaritan Hospitals.
