Lawrence Zeidman, M.D.

DuPage Medical Group welcomes Dr. Lawrence Zeidman to its Department of Neurology in Lombard. Dr. Zeidman is a board-certified neurologist who is committed to providing quality and compassionate care for patients with disorders of the brain and nervous system. He completed additional training in epilepsy and neuromuscular disorders, as well as electromyography/nerve conduction studies (EMG/NCV) and electroencephalography and evoked potential (EEG and EP) diagnostic procedures. He also has interest in movement disorders and neurologic conditions affecting the eye, but has extensive experience diagnosing and treating patients with multiple sclerosis, dementia, headaches, stroke, and many other neurologic disorders.

Dr. Zeidman received a medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in 2004, and was a member of the Honors Program in Medical Education. He then completed a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Evanston Hospital in 2005, followed by a Neurology residency at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center in 2008. During residency, he worked with neurologic patients at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Evanston Hospital, Children’s Memorial Hospital, and the West Side VA Medical Center in Chicago. After that he completed a one-year intensive fellowship in neurophysiology at Rush University Medical Center in 2009, during which he had Clinical Instructor status in the Department of Neurology. Dr. Zeidman has several publications in peer-reviewed neurology journals, ranging in such topics from neuro-oncology to neuromuscular diseases to unusual stroke syndromes.

Dr. Zeidman is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, and is affiliated with Good Samaritan, Central DuPage, and Edward Hospitals.
