Dr. Lazar received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in 1982. He completed his Family Practice Residency at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park. During his three years of Specialty training he served as Chief Resident and received extensive training in Pediatrics, Coronary and Intensive Care, Neonatal Intensive Care and Gynecology.
Dr. Lazar has received several academic and professional awards. He feels education is an important part of wellness. He lectures to community groups, as well as serving as an instructor at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and West Suburban Hospital Medical Center. He is Medical Director for a community nursing facility and sits on the board of several health care committees. Dr. Lazar has impressive credentials, enhanced by a lively sense of humor and true interest in his patients. He and his wife Nanci and their two boys reside in Naperville.
