A member of our Internal Medicine Department, Dr. Carpenter is committed to serving his community by bringing compassion and a wealth of knowledge to all of his patient relationships and interactions. Dr. Carpenter's special areas of clinical interest include arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, lupus, and Lyme disease.
Dr. Carpenter received his medical degree in 1980 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Hawaii Integrated Medical Center in Honolulu. He was a Fellow in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, California and a Fellow in Rheumatology at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Carpenter is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Carpenter is currently affiliated with Edward Hospital.
