Dr. Bridget Frangella specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her goals for her practice are to create a caring environment, provide excellent healthcare, and focus on the overall wellbeing of each patient.
Dr. Frangella received her undergraduate degree in English Literature at University of California at Berkeley in 1997. At Berkeley, she was elected Phi Beta Kappa and placed on the Honor Dean's list. During undergraduate training, she discovered her interest in medicine through volunteer work at Children's Hospital in Oakland, California. She pursued a career in medicine at the University of California, Davis. After graduating in 2001, Dr. Frangella relocated to Chicago to be with her husband. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency in 2005 at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. She received an award for laparoscopy (the AAGL Residency Award) during her residency. Dr. Frangella was also received a 2nd place award at the 2005 Chicago Gynecological Society for her residency research, which focused on weight gain during pregnancy.
Dr. Frangella is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Medical Association, and American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopy. Dr. Frangella is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL and Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.
