Ashish Bhatia, M.D.

An accomplished dermatologist, Dr. Bhatia brings to DuPage Medical Group extensive experience in dermatology, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic surgery. His expertise includes face and body aesthetic surgery, skin cancer therapy, Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery, and skin resurfacing procedures, as well as the treatment of common and rare skin conditions. He also brings to the group advanced techniques in liposuction, leg vein treatments, Botox, collagen, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, Sculptra and Radiesse. His practice includes the latest lasers for sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, hair reduction, blood vessels, birthmarks, acne, tattoos, as well as many other applications.

He has published extensively in medical journals and textbooks, and lectures nationally and internationally. Through his clinical research, publications, public service initiatives, and the use of innovative technologies for instruction, Dr. Bhatia has made a broad range of intellectual and practical contributions to the fields of dermatology and dermatologic surgery.

Dr. Bhatia received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society and earned awards for achievement and service. He completed his residency in Dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals where he served as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he completed an intensive fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, Reconstruction, Cosmetic Surgery, and Laser Surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Chestnut Hill, MA under the direction of the leaders in the field from Boston University, Harvard University, and Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Bhatia is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Bhatia’s memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Central DuPage and Edward Hospitals.
