Dr. Jody Freeman is an energetic physician who specializes in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionately focused on her patients’ well-being and enjoys taking the time to educate her patients on a range of women’s health issues. She treats women of all ages and has helped a full spectrum of patients from teenagers learning about normal physiology to demystifying menopause for her older patients. Dr. Freeman has particular interests in management of abnormal Pap smears and vulvar disorders, as well as adolescent gynecology. Her skills include minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, as well as vaginal and abdominal surgery.
Dr. Freeman received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in German Language and Literature and her medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Freeman is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a member of the American Medical Association, Illinois Medical Society and the DuPage County Medical Society. Dr. Freeman is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
