Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr. Sanchez is a member of our Obstetrics & Gynecology Department who is dedicated to providing compassionate primary care for women. His special areas of clinical interest include vaginal and pelvic surgery, chronic pelvic pain, and gynecologic laparoscopic surgery. While at Rochester General Hospital (RGH) in New York, Dr. Sanchez served as Director of Gynecology Services and Medical Director of the Women's Center. As a member of RGH's academic faculty in the Ob/Gyn Residency Program, he received multiple Excellence in Teaching Awards. Dr. Sanchez joined our clinic in 2000.
Dr. Sanchez received his medical degree in 1987 from the University of Puerto Rico's University Hospital in San Juan. He completed his Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the University of Puerto Rico's University Hospital.
Dr. Sanchez is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Pelvic Pain Society, and the American Medical Association. He is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
