Board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Mathews-Kukla specializes in caring for newborns, children and adolescents. She believes in establishing strong relationships with patients and their parents, creating an atmosphere of trust. Before joining DuPage Medical Group, Dr. Mathews-Kukla was a staff pediatrician for the Children's Health Center in the Northern suburbs. Her clinical interests include pediatric asthma management and childhood allergies and infectious diseases. Dr. Mathews-Kukla also has special expertise in neonatology and pediatric intensive care.
Dr. Mathews-Kukla received her medical degree in 1999 from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Rush Children's Hospital in Chicago.
Dr. Mathews-Kukla is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association. She is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
