As a member of DuPage Medical Group since 1991, Dr. Christina Brown is one of the most experienced and respected podiatric surgeons in DuPage County. She is the founding member of the Podiatry, Foot and Ankle Surgery Department at DuPage Medical Group. Under her leadership the department has grown substantially. She has been instrumental in recruiting other top podiatrists to the group, opening new offices and shaping the direction of clinical and surgical care for DuPage Medical Group.
Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Brown completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University. She received her medical degree from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in 1986 followed by a surgical Residency at West Side Veterans Administration Medical Center Hospital. Dr. Brown is the recipient of academic and professional honors, and she is a member of several professional organizations. She continues to remain at West Side Veterans Administration as an Attending, training residents and overseeing one of the largest podiatric clinics in the United States. In addition, Dr. Brown is an active volunteer for the DuPage Community Clinic, providing medical and surgical care for the underprivileged. She lives in Wheaton with her husband and their four teenagers. Dr. Brown enjoys traveling, horseback riding, photography and running. She and her husband share a passion for American Bulldogs. They share their home with two of them!
Dr. Brown is a Diplomat member of American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association. She is affiliated with Glen Oaks Hospital, DuPage Medical Group Surgical Center, and Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center.
