A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Lee has extensive surgical experience which includes breast and gallbladder disease; gastrointestinal and colon/rectal disorders; Crohn's disease; gastric and pancreatic cancer; endocrine, and critical care surgery. Dr. Lee believes in state-of-the-art surgical care practiced with open communication and compassion.
Dr. Lee received her medical degree in 1997 from the Medical College of Ohio. She completed an internship at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in 1998, her surgical residency in 2003 at University of Illinois Metropolitan Group Hospitals and in 2004 completed a fellowship in endocrine surgery at University of Miami Jackson Memorial Medical Center. In addition to numerous publications, Dr. Lee was honored with the William Allen, MD's Humanitarian Award in 2003.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American College of Surgeons and Association of Women Surgeons. She is fluent in Korean and Spanish. Dr. Lee is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward and Good Samaritan Hospitals. She is also affiliated with the Center for Surgery. Breast patients are seen at our River North Naperville location only.
