Dr. Collins has been practicing medicine since 1983 and has had his own private practice in Naperville since 1989. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and joins DuPage Medical Group with over 25 years experience.
Dr. James Collins earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL in 1979. He then had Internships and at Cook County Hospital and Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center, along with a Residency at Rush Presbyterian Medical Center in Internal Medicine. After finishing his Residency, Dr. Collins went on to work for several medical clinics until 1989, when he opened a private practice in Naperville on Martin Ave.
Dr. Collins is a member of the American College of Physicians, the DuPage County Medical Society, and the Illinois State Medical Society. He is affiliated with Edward Hospital.
