Donna Murphy received a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from St. Xavier College, Chicago, Illinois. After several years in nursing, she chose to focus her professional practice on the health and well being of individuals, families, groups, and communities affected by the epidemic of Diabetes. Donna received a Master of Science degree from University of Illinois, Chicago, IL, and began practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse with Clinical Specialty in Diabetes. She is currently board certified in advanced diabetes management.
Donna is a member of the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nursing, the American Diabetes Association, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. She is a published author of several abstracts and articles concerning diabetes.
