A member of our Internal Medicine Department, Dr. King is a caring Internist with an affinity for community service. He has performed clinical work at Santa Clotilde Hospital in Iquitos, Peru, and in the Dominican Republic and has volunteered medical services to Omaha's Indian-Chicano Clinic, St. Joseph's Hospital ICU in Omaha, flood relief centers, and shelters. Dr. King co-presented his research on the prevalence and transmission of Hepatitis B among women and infants in the Peruvian Amazon Basin at the 1992 session of the International Society of Infectious Disease in Nairobi, Kenya.
Dr. King earned his medical degree in 1988 from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Dr. King was honored with the Aesculapian Award by his fellow medical students at the Creighton University School of Medicine in recognition of his service and compassion toward patients and peers. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital and Edward Hospital.
