Dr. Love began practicing in the Naperville area in 1993. He completed his medical school training at the University of Minnesota in 1990 and moved to Oak Park, IL where he completed his internship and residency in Family Practice at West Suburban Hospital and Medical Center. While in residency he was awarded with The Attending Physicians' Award for excellence in teaching residents and interns.
He was board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians in 1993 and re-certified in 1999. He currently holds memberships in the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Illinois Academy of Family Physicians.
His practice includes a full range of medicine for adults, children and newborns. Particular clinical interests include pediatrics, preventive medicine involving screening for heart disease, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, and high blood pressure.
Currently, he is on medical staff at Edward Hospital. While on staff he has served in a variety of leadership roles including chairman of the Family Practice Department Medical Care Evaluation Committee, Family Practice Credentials Committee and Edward Hospital's Medical Staff Quality Assurance Committee. Additional appointments include teaching medical students from Rush Medical College and providing student health care at North Central College.
