Albert J. Iammartino, M.D.

A physician with many years of experience, Dr. Albert J. Iammartino is a board certified Rheumatologist. Dr. Iammartino has clinical interests of general rheumatology, but special interests include; osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, and other autoimmune diseases.

Prior to his medical education, Dr. I earned his MS and PhD in Biochemistry from Loyola University. Dr. Iammartino received his medical degree from the University of Illinois, as well as his internship and medical residency there before completing his fellowship at Northwestern University's Medical School Department of Internal Medicine Section of Arthritis and Connective Tissue Disease. Dr. Iammartino worked as a Clinical Instructor, Assistant Clinical Professor, and a Co-Chief, Section of Rheumatology at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center. He is currently involved as a Clinical faculty Instructor at Hinsdale and LaGrange Hospitals. Dr. Iammartino comes from a very successful practice; Midwest Rheumatology Consultants, with his experience and knowledge, DuPage Medical Group is proud to welcome Dr. Iammartino as part of the group.

Dr. Iammartino is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Chicago Rheumatism Society and a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He is affiliated with Edward, Good Samaritan, and Hinsdale Hospitals.
