Dr. Joshi has clinical interests in general rheumatology and special interests in; rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, scleroderma, psoriatic arthritis, sports medicine involving back/neck/spine issues, tennis elbow and women’s health issues. She is experienced in using the ultrasound modality for diagnosis and guided injections.
Dr. Joshi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois earning the honor of being on the Dean’s List, as well as being part of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a National Pre-Medical honor society. She completed medical school at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Midwestern University, where she received advanced honors during clinical rotations. She completed her residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge and her fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Illinois. Dr. Joshi has conducted research on students with suppressed immune function and also is the author of a retrospective study on antiphosholipid syndrome and clinical significance in scleroderma patients.
Dr. Joshi is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Joshi is affiliated with Good Samaritan, Hinsdale, Elmhurst and Edward Hospitals.
