Dawn Kroencke, Ph.D.

Dr. Kroencke is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Quincy University, Quincy, Illinois, and her master and doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas. She was a PRIME intern (specializing in Primary Care consultation) at the Clement J. Zablocki VA in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed a Medical Psychology Residency at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, OR.

Dr. Kroencke works with people in all phases of life, at all stages of health, including patients who find themselves in the throes of serious or chronic illness. Dr. Kroencke helps people learn how to manage their reactions to emotional challenges. She directs her patients toward new ideas and perspectives that focus on what’s controllable about their situations-instead of getting stuck on the negative. She helps people see creative, practical ways to improve their mental and physical health by changing behaviors that get in the way of living in balance.

She has special interest in working with patients living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Her masters and doctoral dissertation research involved how patients cope with this neurological disorder.
