Dr. Kalache offers special expertise in the care of newborns and the care for asthma, diabetes, heart disease and thyroid patients. A physician with a caring, personal approach, Dr. Kalache has traveled across the globe on medical missions to the Hope Clinic in Macao and to Mexico.
Dr. Kalache earned her medical degree in 1998 from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport. She completed her combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Louisiana State Health Sciences Center also in Shreveport. Dr. Kalache served as Chief Resident and was nominated for a ÒMedicine Resident of the YearÓ award by her peers.
Dr. Kalache is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Pediatrics and Alpha Omega Alpha. She is affiliated with Good Samaritan and Hinsdale Hospitals.
