As the newest member of the Wheaton Internal Medicine Department, Dr. Herzing is excited to be joining the DuPage Medical Group. Dr. Herzing completed her undergraduate education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she graduated summa cum laude in 2002 and was a recipient of the bronze tablet award. She went on to receive her medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in 2006. She continued at Loyola University Medical Center where she completed her internal medicine residency training in June of 2009.
Dr. Herzing’s areas of interest include hypertension, diabetes, coronary artery disease, gastrointestinal disorders, preventative care, and women’s health issues. She places an emphasis on patient education and believes that quality medical care begins with the formation of a partnership between the patient and the physician. She enjoys reading and outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, canoeing, and hiking. Dr. Herzing is affiliated with Central DuPage and Edward Hospitals.
