Dr. Daniel Rataj is a licensed clinical psychologist. Areas of practice include psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessment. His clinical interests include older adult psychology, developmental psychopathology, dementia, stress syndromes, and mood disorders.
Dr. Rataj received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Northwestern University Medical School. He completed an American Psychological Association accredited predoctoral internship at Henry Ford Hospital in metropolitan Detroit. Prior to joining DuPage Medical Group, Dr. Rataj practiced clinical psychology at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center on Chicago's west side. There, he practiced individual and group psychotherapy in the Geropsychiatry Clinic. He also conducted initial evaluations in the Psychiatric Assessment Clinic, the entry point for veterans seeking mental health treatment.
Dr. Rataj has had comprehensive training in clinical psychology throughout the various predoctoral and postgraduate positions he has held. He has been involved with a diverse group of organizations, providing him with an excellent background in clinical psychology.
