Dr. Klugman received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in 1989. He completed an Internship and Residency with Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center's department of internal medicine, followed by a Fellowship in gastroenterology there, also. Dr. Klugman is the recipient of several professional awards and honors, and a member of several professional organizations. Dr. Klugman's clinical skills are augmented by his research in areas such as mental illness in elderly, cardiology and molecular biology. He's also written articles for professional journals. He held a faculty appointment to Rush Medical College in Chicago. Dr. Klugman is very personable and extremely interested in educating his patients. He's generous with his time and thorough in explanations. He and his wife, Dr. Vanessa Klugman, live in River Forest with their three children.
