Gastroenterology
Donald Hoscheit, M.D.
As a member of our Gastroenterology Department, Dr. Hoscheit specializes in diseases and disorders of the digestive tract. Dr. Hoscheit joined DuPage Medical Group on July 1, 1987. He has particular interest in endoscopic surgery, colon cancer detection and screening, colitis, Crohn's disease and peptic ulcer disease. Dr. Hoscheit received his medical degree in 1982 from the Stritch School of Medicine-Loyola University. He completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship at the Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. He is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward and Delnor Community Hospitals as well as the Center for Surgery.
Dr. Hoscheit is a member of the American Medical Association, DuPage County Medical Society, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Chicago Society for Gastroenterology and the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. He has been elected a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He also volunteers at the DuPage Community Clinic, providing consultations for the county's uninsured. Dr. Hoscheit's goal is to provide compassionate care in a warm, friendly environment. Through the use of state of the art technology and high quality care, he works with his patients to meet their health and wellness goals. He believes in treating each individual with respect and strives to provide exceptional care with an emphasis on early diagnosis and disease prevention. Dr. Hoscheit and his wife are raising two sons. Dr. Hoscheit is a fan of any sport in which his children participate. He also enjoys golf, ice skating, basketball and baseball, as well as spending time with his family hiking and camping.
