Fluent in both Ukrainian and English, Dr. Kuzycz is board-certified in both General Surgery and Thoracic Surgery, specializing in cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery.
Dr. Kuzycz's clinical interests include minimally invasive surgery, mitral valve repair, and open-heart surgery. Dr. Kuzycz received his medical degree in 1965 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood. He completed his Residency at Hines Veterans Affairs Hospital in Hines, IL, and his Fellowship at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Kuzycz is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital.
