Board certified in Neurology and Psychiatry, Dr. Summers has extensive experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing disorders of the brain and nervous system. He has published and presented papers on issues related to epilepsy and psychogenic seizures as well as the use of MRI technology in diagnosing Creutzfeldt-Jacob Disease. Dr. Summers joined our Neurology department in 2002.
Dr. Summers received his medical degree in 1987 from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He completed his Residency in Neurology at the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1991. He is a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at Northwestern University Medical School.
Dr. Summers is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association, and Chicago Medical Society. He is affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital.
