Vascular Surgery
Sae Hahm, M.D.
Dr. Sae Hahm brings his extensive training in Endovascular and Vascular Surgery to DuPage Medical Group. His interests include treatment for cerebrovascular disease, the endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease and venous disease, as well as open vascular surgery. With board certification in Vascular Surgery, Dr. Hahm brings his enthusiasm for patient care, education, professionalism and outreach to his patients and the community.
Dr. Hahm received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He went on to complete his General Surgery residency and Vascular Surgery fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical. As a Research Fellow in surgery at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson, he also engaged in basic science and clinical research in sepsis, shock and inflammation. He has presented at national meetings such as the America Association for Cancer Research, the Surgical Infection Society and the Association of Academic Surgeons.
He was involved in the education and training of surgical residents and medical students as a clinical instructor at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Hahm is member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons and the New Jersey Vascular Society. He maintains board certification in general surgery as well. He is affiliated with Edward, Central Dupage, Hinsdale, Good Samaritan, and Glen Oaks Hospitals.
