NOTE: Telephone calls are always answered up until 4:55 pm on weekdays and 12:00 pm on Saturdays.

Illness After Hours

A physician is on call after hours to answer your emergent medical questions. Call 630 717 2646 to contact the on call physician. If you have HMO insurance, you are required to obtain
pre-authorization for emergency department visits from your physician, except in the case
of life-threatening emergencies.

Laboratory & Radiology Hours

The laboratory is open Monday through Friday weekly. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm; Thursday 8 am to 6:30 pm; and every other Saturday 8 am to 11 am. No appointment is needed. A physician’s order is required for blood work or radiology.

Referrals to Specialists

Referrals to specialists within DuPage Medical Group usually are processed in 1-3 business days and referrals to specialists outside of DuPage Medical Group require 3-5 business days for processing. If you have any questions regarding referrals, please call Janet, our referral coordinator, at 630 717 2628.

Medication Refills

For prescription refills, please call your local pharmacy. They will confirm your refill with our office. Allow 48-72 hours for a response to your request for a medication refill.
